@Aaron

From some of the research online it seems like without the ldap plugin wordpress does not have this problem and forces it be all lowercase (strtolower) but the ldap plugin code does not force this.

Is there a way to use strtolower in the ldap files to force lowercase of blog urls? I'm an a newbie with PHP, so hopefully it wasn't a stupid question. Thanks!

@Melissa

This is a function of the webserver mainly. Wordpress is a case sensitive app. There may be some plugins out there to handle this, otherwise you might be able to get away with using .htaccess and some apache magic - but that sounds messy. Sorry i don't have any other ideas for you.

@George

It is safe to remove the entire row. Since you are a site admin, be design you will have access to the blog anyway.

For those of us not familiar with poking around in the database can you clarify the statement below (perhaps with a before and after example). Is the whole meta_value to be blanked (e.g. a:1:{s:10:"subscriber";b:1;}), OR can the entire row be deleted.

"Site admin users will need the subscribe capability removed from the wp_usermeta for wp_1_capability."

Thanks for a great plugin....
